Prashant Panjiar

Prashant Panjiar is a self taught photographer who also worked as a photojournalist and curator. His subject is usually ordinary people leading ordinary lives and strives to portray them with a sense of dignity in order to blur social distinctions. He has worked on a number of photographic projects from peasant movements, banditry in the Chambal Valley to a construction sites but all his photographs regardless of the topic show us the thin dividing line between transience and durability.
